As part of the University’s newly refurbished Archive, a new Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival Archive has been created to care for over 30 years of valuable hcmf material - scores, programmes, correspondence and other materials. The archive will be launched as part of the opening events of the festival on 20 November 2009. To celebrate this occasion, we will be joined by Emeritus Professor Richard Steinitz, founder of hcmf and Director for over 20 years, who will share some of his ‘personal archive’ of memories and highlights.
