David's revision, altering slurring and notes. Each time this passage occurs he made changes.

David's revision, as in the previous revision changing c#'''-e''' to a''-g''. Here, however, he also adds a quaver rest and changes the last note to a quaver.

c#''-e''-a#''-c#''' slurred together followed by two staccato b''s, evidently intended to replace the deleted passage two bars earlier and also the triplet quavers in the passage marked with a x on the next line. The crotchet that follows on the first occasion appears to be changed to e''', while a grace note e''' followed by e'''' is evidently intended to remain in the following stave.

Almost certainly David's pencil marking.

This sign in the same pencil as the 4 in the stave above indicate an accent made with the point of the bow (as described in Davids 1864 Violinschule).

David has written dis fis (i.e. d#-f#) below, clarifying or correcting the indistinctly notated upper note, which appears to be b'''.
