The lead pencil markings in this copy were evidently made by a pupil at Uppingham School in connection with a performance in recent years. At the same time, an attempt was evidently made to eradicate Ferdinand David's blue crayon markings, which are fortunately difficult to erase. They can all still be seen (they are cleared in the original copy than they appear on screen).

The red boxes give David's marking where they are difficult to read on screen.
