The plate number 3044 corresponds with 1811, but it is clear from the print and also from the title page, which bears the title 'Neue Original-Ausgabe durchgesehen u. sorgfältig mit fingersatz bezeichnet' (New original edition edited and carefully marked with fingering) that this is an edition from the second half of the 19th century. In very small type under the title Op. 28 Duos f. Violine & Alt. it is described as Neue Ausg. besorget v. J. N. Rauch (New edition under the care of J. N. Rauch), which suggests a date around 1870.
