Johann Sebastian Bach » Violin Concerto no 1 in A minor » David, Ferdinand - Rieter-Biedermann
Dated from Rieter-Biedermann's plate 270 - Brahms Variations on a Theme of Schumann op. 13 with a Hofmeister listing of June 1863. This copy is from the Uppingham Collection, and bears MS annotation in David's and other hands. The description 'bearbeitet von Ferdinand David' on the title page (arranged by Ferdinand David) may refer as much to the reduction for piano (on the first page of which is printed 'arrangiert von Ferdinand David') as the bowing and fingering in the violin part.
