Arthur Seybold 1868-1948 Studied at the Hamburg Conservatoire. In 1888 he joinded Laube's orchestra for a concert tour to Russia. He joined Bulow's orchestra in 1890, where he will have come into contact with Brahms. Thereafter he concentrated on violin teaching and published a method entitled Das neue System in 1913. He published many collections of pieces as well as editing Beethoven and Brahms sonatas.
