Social media doesn’t affect teenager’s life’s as much as you may think. A study published in the journal PNAS attempts to answer the question of whether teenager who use social media more than an average has lower life satisfaction use on social media.

The University of Oxford’s research team says that family, friends and school life all had a greater impact on wellbeing.The study claims to be more in depth and robust than previous ones.

The study required companies to release data on how people use social media in order to understand more about what impact technology has on young people’s lives.
