If you thought you had a bad morning imagine being late to work and getting to your car to find it plastic wrapped. That’s what happened to the unfortunate residents of Woodthorpe Terrance. Two cars owned by separate residents were the victim of this prank.

One car simply had a few layers of cling film wrapped around the body. The second car was found plastic wrapped with a pumpkin on top. While to many this is a harmless “prank” with no lasting damage it doesn’t take into consideration the efforts to reduce single use plastics and that cling film isn’t recyclable.

Although it isn’t clear who performed these pranks the area has been subject anti-social behaviour issues with cases being reported to the police including a public order which includes offences which cause fear, alarm or distress.
