The Opinions and Lifestyle Survey analyses the impacts of home schooling in Great Britain between the months of April to June 2020.
Not having access to essentials for home-schooling such as a laptop or internet has become stressful for a 40% of parents, as it is now their full responsibility to ensure their children are still learning.
“There are always alternative resources provided to help support the delivery of home learning – It is mentally and physically challenging coordinating executive work with home-schooling. Sometimes it’s difficult getting him to concentrate in a home environment,” said Cheryl Murdock, a marketing coordinator with a 4-year-old son.
