Huddersfield Town has lost it's theoretical chance of automatic promotion to the Premier League before the last game of the season. Bournemouth win 1:0 over Nottingham Forrest means that The Cherries together with Fulham got to the English first division by the automatic promotion.

Despite this fact, the terriers might get to the Premier League thorugh the play-offs competition. Their amazing run of 8 wins in the last 12 games means that they don’t need to worry about losing their position in the table and not qualifying to the play-offs.

Saturday's game against Bristol City will decide which side exactly Huddersfield Town will face in the fight for the promotion. The play-offs semi finals will take a place between 13 - 17 May and the final will be played at the Wembley later this month.

Saturday’s game will be an occasion for the Huddersfield fans to thanks the team for it’s effort and support them before the most important games of the season. The terriers are in the fight for the Premier League after they got relegated 3 years ago in season 2018/19.
