Great to see Huddersfield being highlighted for its best features

I have noticed locally when live music is being performed at venues in and around Huddersfield that advertising is sporadic for the smaller, non funded events as opposed to the venues music festivals funded by the Council or the University. Music events bring people in from neighbouring towns and as Megan states, most people go for pre drinks or even meals before or after the music event. Local pubs restaurants then get regular clientele if visitors have enjoyed their time at concerts. I think councils need to think more outside the box and look at financial gains that could be made from regular music events and promoting hospitality in the region.

Loved this. Longer episodes please. Also, you have the natural gift of not rushing through the words like lots of people do when they record podcasts. Very natural at presenting which is a very good thing indeed. It was bright, quirky and informative, could very easily have been a feature on 6music news. More please!

Really well presented. Natural and at ease with interviewees. Longer episodes would be great. Fully agree that live music (gigs and events) help boost the local economy with people buying drinks/food etc and if smaller local gigs and events were advertised more it would help local areas, local pubs/venues benefit from events.
