This brought tears to my eyes. We are social creatures and to be suddenly cut off from the world is very lonely and tragic. The younger generation forget that the elderly probably dont know about modern technology, we link up so quickly with the outside world through media we know no different, but to someone like Jean to suddenly lose your network of friends is awful and depressing. This podcast makes me want to do more to help our older generation keep in contact with the community.
