I created a podcast based on the subject of racism and how it impacts the black ethnicity majorly as they have been historically been radicalized to a high level of abuse and discrimination. I wanted to create a podcast that explains why the black lives matter movement plays a pivotal role and to discuss this. I interviewed two students who come from a Nigerian African background and one Haitian.  And hear their views on racism.

I shared my podcast from planet Hud to various social media sites such as media Hud. Twitter, this enabled the audiences to listen and comment their views and opinions on this subject. I found that most people enjoyed listening to my podcast and found it to be very informative and liked the fact that I started my introduction describing the ideology of racism and the extent of what the black ethnicity face and nailing certain statistic’s.

One of the comments that I received in response to my podcast was that black lives need to be taken seriously as there is still substantial racism that exists in the uk. Like Destiny mentioned that the black lives movement may have brought awareness but there still needs to be more change as he feels that there is still not enough being done to address the issues that black people face on a daily life.

Another comment that received my attention was from Amar “The Black Lives Matter movement is critical in today’s society and I believe this podcast addresses the movement excellently, allowing more people to be aware of impartiality within the black community”.

In conclusion it made me realize that people feel strongly about this issue and believe that racism has not improved. There certainly needs more improvement in the way educate others about different culture and racism.
