Response to Racism podcast

I created a podcast based on the subject of racism and how it impacts the black ethnicity majorly as they have been historically been radicalized to a high level of abuse and discrimination. I wanted to create a podcast that explains why the black lives matter movement plays a pivotal role and to discuss this. I interviewed two students who come from a Nigerian African background and one Haitian.  And hear their views on racism.

Racism, it's skin deep. (Response)

I produced a podcast about the topic of racism and how it is still ongoing in West Yorkshire, specifically Huddersfield and the University of Huddersfield. This is a topic very close to my heart and the aim of my podcast was to encourage people to not just shrug racism off anymore and to make it something they think about and what they can do to conquer it.

Racism, it’s skin deep.

A podcast about racism, a topic I have always been very passionate about since a young age and I have enjoyed researching in more depth for this project, gaining more of an understanding about what it is like to be at the forefront of racism and how to deal with it and tackle the problem.

I spoke to a BAME ambassador at the university of Huddersfield about her experiences and opinion on racism in Huddersfield and the help that is provided at the university, it was great to have more of an insight in to the BAME Ambassador Scheme and how the organisation works.
