COVID vaccine?

Audio:

Welcome to another episode of RealityCheck,

Are you vaccinated for COVID? Do you support it? Are you against?

You can listen to find out how people in Leeds feel about this! I also have a special guest, Jasainy Sutton joining me, she will be sharing why she's not vaccinated and why she doesn't really believe in it.

Getting the COVID-19 vaccine helps to reduce the risk of getting and spreading the virus. I agree with Haleema that everyone should get the vaccine because according to research and evidence individuals who have had the vaccine are moe likely to not become seriously ill if they are vaccinated.

I agree with Haleema; she’s right about the fact death rates have decreased since vaccines have been taken by people, I highly recommend people to get vaccinated as it puts an individual to less risk of catching the virus.

There’s a lot of misconceptions about the vaccine but it can be resolved with doing your research and looking into scientific articles. Yes we don’t know the long term effect of vaccine but the good outweighs the bad. I personally believe the sooner we get everyone vaccinated the sooner we will get back to our normal lives.

I think it is very important that we all get our vaccines done because we will then be able to get back to our normal lives instead of having to go from one lockdown to another.

i understand the importance of the vaccination! However, i am against the government ‘forcing’ people, it MUST be a choice. I like how two different points of views were shared in this podcast, it shows how differently people see things. I agree with both to a certain extent. Great podcast overall

I personally believe it should be up to people if they want to get vaccinated or not, just like Jasainy I am not vaccinated and haven't had COVID. This just goes to show that you don't need to be vaccinated to not get COVID! The government is wrong for making people feel like they NEED to get the vaccine.
